Job description

This internship at Taronja offers a dynamic blend of tourism, socio-cultural activities, and organizational administration. The trainee will play a pivotal role in creating and managing cultural programs that help students immerse themselves in the Spanish way of life, while also supporting the school’s administrative functions.

Activities

Core Responsibilities: The trainee will be involved in organizing and coordinating a wide range of cultural and social activities, such as language exchanges, welcome events, cooking classes, and cultural outings. These activities are designed to help students adapt to life in Valencia and fully experience Spanish customs and traditions. Additionally, the trainee will assist with the preparation of promotional materials (like posters and maps), the reception of new students, and providing ongoing support to help them navigate their stay. Administrative and Organizational Tasks: Alongside cultural responsibilities, the trainee will engage in various administrative duties. These include translating and editing school materials, conducting market research, and managing schedules to meet deadlines. The role requires adaptability and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of both the cultural and administrative sides of the school.

Preferred profile

REQUIREMENTS LEVEL OF SPANISH:For type A practices a minimum level of B2 is required. It is not necessary to bring any certificate. The level will be checked through an interview. What we offer

the school TARONJA offers trainees: Internship type A: • 8-10 hours of Spanish lessons per week for the ENTIRE duration of the internship. It will always be attempted that the group assigned to the practitioner is of their level. However, the school does not guarantee that every week there will be a free place at the appropriate level (especially for high levels, such as C1, C2). In these cases they will be assigned either a lower level group, a pronunciation / conversation workshop, or they will be given study materials to work on their own.
