Please beware of scammers

As an international platform, Globalplacement is prone to attract those who try to scam people out of their money. For example by promising an internship abroad, but requiring a payment up front for their services. In some cases this might be for legitamite reasons, but always be very very vigilant.

Even though we try our very best to keep our platform free of abuse, we can't garantuee we'll never miss anything. If you see any suspicious vacancies on our website, please do report them by reaching out to us. Never transfer money or share your bank account/credit card details with anyone unless you're absolutely sure it is safe to do so (in which case it is always at your own risk).

Job description

We are looking for one or two motivated interns to join our young team in the historic old town of Bizerte for at least four weeks, starting on January 15, 2026. The internship is suitable for students and anyone who would like to gain practical experience in the hotel industry.

We are a boutique hotel in the traditional riad style, offering 18 individually designed rooms in the historic old town. Our guests particularly value the personal service and high-quality atmosphere—we currently hold a rating of 9.1 on …m and 4.9 out of 5 stars on Google.

Activities

As an intern, you will be actively involved in the daily operations. You will look after guests, assist with check-ins and reservations, help with organization, and assist with breakfast service. You will also gain insight into material logistics and simple administrative tasks. Housekeeping is part of the job to help you gain a complete understanding of all processes.

Depending on your skills, you can also help develop our new projects—e.g., in strategy, concept development, renovation planning, or cooperation with tour operators.

Preferred profile

These skills are important and will be further developed with us:

• Reliability

• Flexibility

• Ability to work in a team & enjoy working with people

• Initiative (independently recognizing what is needed)

• Problem-solving skills (thinking ahead & acting pragmatically)

• Openness to an intercultural environment outside of European standards

No prior knowledge necessary: Tasks such as coffee preparation, breakfast procedures, check-ins, and logistical planning will be explained to you step by step and are very easy to learn.

What we offer

What you get:

You will be fully provided for during your internship: accommodation and food are included, and we will pick you up from the airport. You will share a fully equipped apartment with another person of the same sex—everyone has their own bedroom, while the bathroom, living area, and kitchen are shared. The apartment is only a minute's walk from the guest house, in the middle of the historic old town, which is visited by countless tourists every day.

Bizerte is also ideal in terms of food: within a 5-minute walk, you can reach the daily local market, where local farms offer their seasonal fruit and vegetables without pesticides or other additives. Right next door is the fish market, where you can find freshly caught fish from the morning. Numerous cafés, boutiques, the old harbor, and wellness facilities are within a 10-minute walk.
