Social Media and Events Marketing Intern

Are you passionate about events, and creating engaging content for social media? We're seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Media and Events Marketing Intern. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, event promotion, community engagement, and analytics within the vibrant world of nightlife and entertainment.

Activities

·         Content Creation: Develop engaging social media content including posts, stories, and videos highlighting upcoming events, DJ features, and behind-the-scenes footage.

·         Social Media Management: Manage the company's social media accounts, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring mentions.

·         Event Promotion: Assist in promoting events across various social media platforms by creating event pages, designing promotional graphics, and implementing targeted advertising campaigns.

·         Community Engagement: Foster interaction and engagement within the event community by initiating discussions, responding to comments, and organizing user-generated content initiatives.

·         Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and provide insights for optimization.

·         Recruitment Outreach: Identify and reach out to potential collaborators and partners to collaborate on promotional efforts and expand the company's reach.

·         Content Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of social media content aligned with event schedules and marketing goals.

·         Event Coverage: Attend and cover events live on social media, capturing moments, conducting interviews, and engaging with attendees online.

·         Community Surveys: Create and analyze surveys to gather feedback from the nightlife community on event experiences, preferences, and suggestions for improvement.

·         Trend Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging social media platforms to inform future marketing initiatives and maintain a competitive edge.

Preferred profile

·         Enrollment in a Relevant Degree Program: Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, media studies, or a related field.

·         Fluency and English: Proficient in both written and spoken English to effectively communicate with an international audience. *Fluency in Spanish is a plus

·         Knowledge of Social Media Platforms: Familiarity with popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, along with an understanding of trends and best practices in social media marketing.

·         Creativity and Content Creation Skills: Ability to generate creative content ideas and produce engaging posts, stories, and videos for social media platforms.

·         Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and convey the company's brand message effectively.

·         Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain brand consistency and accuracy in content creation and social media management tasks.

·         Time Management Skills: Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·         Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with team members and contribute ideas to enhance social media strategies and community engagement efforts.

·         Interest in Nightlife and Events: Genuine interest in the nightlife industry and enthusiasm for attending and promoting events within the local nightlife scene.

·         Adaptability and Flexibility: Openness to learning new skills, adapting to changes, and taking on diverse tasks as needed in a dynamic work environment.
